On March 3, 2017, opening ceremony of Spring Semester 2017 for SWUFE international students was held by College of International Education in Guanghua Campus. All faculties of the college, police officers of the Exit and Entry Administration Division of Chengdu and students of 2017 Spring Intake participated in the ceremony.

Following the welcome address, Dean of CIE Prof. Liang Ting awarded the certificate and scholarship to the THUONG PHAT TANG, the student who got Outstanding International Students Scholarship from Chinese government.

In the ceremony, police officers were invited to give a short & informative lecture on China's relevant laws and regulations as well as the matters related to study in China for our students. This semester for the first time, CIE has prepared Welcome Packages for all new students. In order to help fitting in the life here in SWUFE and Chengdu, Our faculties also introduced students the basic fact of the university and CIE, our offices’ functions as well as useful tips.

Through this opening ceremony, the students have had a clearer and brighter image of their future life in China. Together with the acceleration of internationalization of Chengdu, there has also been a major boost in the population of international students in SWUFE. While the number of students grow, we are sparing no efforts providing with better services and environment for every of you.
